  • A human crossover study showed that AlgaeCal® had similar efficacy in calcium absorption and fortification-derived metabolic effects, to leading Competitor Calcium Supplement (LCCS) despite differing in their composition in elementary calcium
  • Post-menopausal women lose approximately 1% of bone density per year with traditional calcium supplements only slowing that rate of loss slightly
  • Post-menopausal women who took different AlgaeCal® formulations have reported increasing bone density at one year with a maximum increase up to 4.1% rise in BMD (annualized)
